The flamingos of Lake Nakuru are not breeding, as there are no flamingos that breed in captivity in the world. You can spot greater flamingos on the lakeshore, though your view may be impaired by the presence of a few taller bushes. The lesser flamingos prefer to feed on the translucent blue-green algae that is found in the lake as it blooms.
